As the little sister of the Pointer 25 (test in YACHT 6/2015), the new and small boat from Jachtwerf Heeg in Friesland comes with a swivelling ballast centreboard with a weight of 180 kilograms. The fin can be completely retracted into the hull, which makes road transport and slipping over the ramp easy. The two aluminium rudder blades are located in rear-mounted rudder heads and can be raised with a flick of the wrist.

In the YACHT test, the very versatile concept of the Pointer 22 as a daysailer, touring or sports boat was particularly impressive. And the smart Dutchwoman can be sailed well and safely with a crew of up to four people or all by herself. Up to four people can spend the night below deck, albeit in somewhat limited comfort.

The test report of the Pointer 22 has been published in YACHT, issue 12/2018. The magazine is available in the DK-Shop, or you can download the test directly via the link below.
